Common Language

If there was only one common language for all, what would be the advantages, disadvantages, and implications? 


 Advantages

  • We would all be able to understand each other 
  • We would all be able to communicate with each other
  • No language barriers 
  • Easier to get a job


 Disadvantages

  • You might not be able to express yourself properly 
  • No diversity 
  • No culture diversity 
Implications

  • We are all the same 
  • We all need to speak one language in order to understand each other 
  • Diversity isn't important
